Melissa Morland is a Director of Operations and Maintenance at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). She completed her education at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Melissa Morland, UMB's biosafety officer and assistant director of environmental health and safety, was elected by her peers as the president of ABSA International, the leading association for biosafety and biosecurity.
