Dr. Morgan-Gouveia is a board-certified internist and geriatrician. She is a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at the Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware. She holds a part-time faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Morgan-Gouveia is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine Geriatric Medicine Board. She serves on the Clinical Competency Committee for the Christiana Care Internal Medicine Residency Program. She is also a member of the Christiana Care Quality Partners ACO Medicare Beneficiary and Advocacy Committee.
Dr. Morgan-Gouveia received a bachelor's degree in biology and psychology from the University of Richmond, graduating summa cum laude with honors in psychology. She earned her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and did her primary care general internal medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She completed her geriatrics fellowship in the clinician-educator track at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
