Melinda Karp leads Commonwealth Care Alliance’s member experience and engagement efforts, developing and implementing strategy to create consumer partnerships in the design, delivery and evaluation of CCA programs and services. She serves as Executive Director of The Center to Advance Consumer Partnership, an organization founded by CCA, that is dedicated to transforming care for people with complex needs by fostering authentic consumer partnership throughout the healthcare system.

Prior to joining CCA in 2017, Melinda was Senior Director of Member Experience Innovation at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA). Before BCBSMA, Melinda directed strategic planning and business development at Massachusetts Health Quality Partners, leading consumer engagement and measurement strategy. She has served on several boards focused on improving patient-centered measurement and care delivery. Melinda holds an MBA in Health Care Management from Boston University and a Psychology degree from Duke.
