Melike Harfouche MD, FACS

Dr. Harfouche is an Acute Care Surgeon with clinical interests in diverticulitis, acute and chronic pancreatitis, and abdominal wall reconstruction. She performs both complex open and minimally invasive surgery. She has extensive experience in the management of acutely ill patients, including critical care resuscitation and surgical rescue. She is accepting new patients who may have a wide range of general surgical needs. Dr. Harfouche works closely with a team of skilled providers to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of care.

Dr. Harfouche is a member of numerous surgical societies including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST), and the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST). She has co-authored over 35 publications in the fields of trauma and emergency general surgery.
