Melanie Paige HoenigMD
Melanie Hoenig, MD is a clinical nephrologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She has been the course director for Renal pathophysiology at Harvard Medical School for more than a dozen years. She served as co-chair for recent curriculum reform at Harvard Medical School and now is the course director for Homeostasis II which includes renal, endocrine and gastrointestinal pathophysiology.
Dr. Hoenig is also the Editor for Kidney Self Assessment Program, the American Society of Nephrology's online board review and maintenance of certification products. Dr. Hoenig teaches renal pathophysiology at every level of training from medical student to the renal fellow. She also co-directs a program at the Harvard Summer Research Program in Kidney Medicine for undergraduate students.
