Melanie Paige Hoenig MD

Dr. Melanie Hoenig is a nephrologist at BIDMC and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is the Feature Editor for the American Journal of Kidney Diseases’ Core Curriculum and has held a range of leadership positions in nephrology education. Dr. Hoenig chaired the AACC’s eGFR and Race Equity Task Force. Her clinical practice is in general nephrology, and she has an interest in kidney disease in patients transitioning to adult care and kidney disease in people living with HIV.
