Melanie C. B. Bois MD

Melanie C. Bois, M.D. was raised in Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in biology and environmental studies. She then moved to Rochester, Minnesota and obtained her medical degree from the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Bois completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, wherein she was awarded the Dr. Hobart K. B. Allebach Fellowship in Pathology award and served as chief resident. Following residency, she pursued her passions of thoracic and cytopathology from the same institution. She completed her Cardiovascular Pathology fellowship with a pulmonary focus in 2017, during which she was fortunate to be mentored by Drs. Joseph Maleszewski, Marie-Christine Aubry, Peter Lin and William Edwards.
