Mei-hwei Chang MD

Dr. Mei-Hwei Chang earned her M.D. degree at the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University (NTU). She received pediatric gastroenterology research fellowship training at UCLA School of Medicine, Los Angeles, U.S.A. She then established the pioneer fellowship training program of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition in Asia.

Internationally, she has been the president of the Federation of International Societiesof Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition from 2008 to 2012, leading the five member societies in the world. She was also the president of the Asian-Pan Pacific Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
