Megan Neely is an assistant professor in the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Department at Duke University Medical Center and is the Co-Director of Graduate Studies for the Master and PhD programs in biostatistics.
She also collaborates with Duke Clinical Research Institute, working on risk modeling involving –Omic data primarily inthe fields of cardiology and pulmonology. Her statistical methodology research interests include variable selection, especially penalized regression, prediction model analytics, and personalized medicine.
Her educational research interests include best practices for statistical programming education as well as curriculum development and implementation of statistical education for non-statisticians in an academic medicine setting.
