Megan Kalucy is a Sydney based psychiatrist currently working at the Prince of Wales Hospital. She completed her medical training at the Flinders University of South Australia where she graduated with honours and the University Medal. She undertook psychiatry training at Prince of Wales Hospital and has worked in rural NSW, Perth, Western Australia and Manchester, UK before returning to Sydney.

She has worked extensively in the area of youth mental health, with particular interest in early psychosis and at risk mental states. Several years ago she developed an interest in sleep disorders and has worked as a consultant psychiatrist at the Woolcock Clinic. She has more recently been engaged in research addressing the problem of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea in people with severe mental illness and is keen to promote the awareness of sleep issues in people with mental illness and to enhance competency amongst mental health practitioners in managing these common but debilitating problems.
