Meenakshi C. Patel MD, FACP, MMM,CMD

Dr. Meenakshi Patel has been in practice in the Dayton area since 1987. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Hospice and Palliative care by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a certified Medical Director for long-term care by the American Medical Directors Association-PA/LTC and serves as the Medical Director at several area nursing homes. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine and is involved in teaching medical students, resident physicians, and Geriatrics fellows.

Dr. Patel is very actively involved in research in several areas pertaining to the geriatric population, especially with regard to Alzheimer’s Dementia. She speaks nationally on various topics related to geriatric care at national symposiums, including the American Medical Directors’ Association PA/LTC.
