Dr. M. Joshua Hasbani is currently an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Neurology. After completing an undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Biology, he received his M.D. Ph.D. attending Washington University School of Medicine from 1994 through 2001 graduating with a Ph.D. in the neuroscience department with interests in recovery of structure and function after ischemic stroke. After this, he completed a residency in 2005 in Neurology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed a fellowship year at Yale New Haven Hospital in Clinical Neurophysiology with interests in neuromuscular conditions and epilepsy.
