Mayank Gurnani MD, MBBS, MBA

Dr. Mayank Gurnani is currently Associate Director at NUS Industry Liaison Office and Programme Head for JUMPstart at NUS. In addition, Dr. Gurnani also supports med/health technology development and venture creation through TAP, LLP, and GRIP programs. At JUMPstart, Dr. Gurnani and their team are dedicated to building sustainable med/health new ventures collaborating with innovators, technologists, and clinicians as well as investors and the industry. Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Gurnani and his team have been closely involved in the rapid development and deployment of multiple solutions as part of NUS' and Singapore's response to the pandemic.

Dr. Gurnani has close to two decades of extensive and specialized expertise in strategy, biotech, startups, entrepreneurship, and academic partnerships in the US, EU, and the Asia Pacific with global organizations such as Novartis and Cipla. Dr. Gurnani is a clinician by profession and continues to hold an active medical license in India, as well as ECFMG certification in the US. He also has an MBA degree specializing in Finance/Strategy and an MSc degree specializing in Health Economics & Market Access.
