Maya Mallat Yassine BS

Dr. Maya Mallat Yassine is the head of clinical risk management at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), which is the largest healthcare network in the UAE, operating 12 hospitals, more than 40 ambulatory and primary healthcare centres, with a combined total of more than 17,000 professional staff. Dr. Mallat Yassine is in charge of developing, overseeing and coordinating a corporate clinical risk management program to support SEHA’s endeavour to provide high quality services while mitigating risks, maintaining business continuity and safeguarding the organization. Prior to joining the SEHA team, Dr. Mallat Yassine managed the Customer Protection Unit and the Quality Improvement Department at the Centre for Healthcare Planning and Quality, which regulates the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), the world’s largest healthcare free zone. Dr. Mallat Yassine has over 15 years’ experience in clinical risk management, quality improvement and patient safety within international healthcare organizations. She is a results driven healthcare services researcher with strong analytical skills and a track record in leading and working with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams to develop and implement effective healthcare strategies with demonstrated outcomes.
