Dr. Maya Gottfried is a Director of the Oncology Institute of Meir Medical Center, Kfar Saba, Israel and Senior Lecturer at the Tel Aviv University, School of Medicine.
Dr. Gottfried completed her doctorate in the medical faculty of the Padova University of Italy in 1979 (the title of her thesis was: "Pharmacology and dietary influence on the composition of the bacterial flora in neonates"). In the years 1980- 1982 she started her residency in family medicine at the Tel-Mond clinical center and Meir Medical Center.
