May L. Chan-Liston is currently serving as Executive Director, Global Risk Management Lead, Hematology and CAR T, at Bristol Myers Squibb (formerly Celgene Corporation). She has the privilege of leading and working with Global Risk Management and REMS teams at BMS, as well as previously at Actavis/Watson Pharma, to ensure patient safety through the strategic and innovative design, development, and improvement of risk management programs. Prior to product Risk Management, May was dedicated to the cardiovascular, neurology, and urology therapeutic areas with a focus on Medical Affairs--creating medical strategies and delivering medical education programming, medical information, and publications plans. May also has gratefully practiced as a retail and volunteer disaster relief pharmacist. May earned her degrees from Rutgers University: her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and her Master of Public Health degree from the Rutgers School of Public Health (SPH). May serves as a volunteer in her local civilian Medical Reserve Corps, as a member of the Rutgers School of Public Health Leadership Council to the Dean, and as an abstract/article reviewer for multiple professional scientific journals and associations. May loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, and crafting every chance she gets. She is also new to the sport of fishing and is in competition with her sons to land a monster bass in the near future.
