Maxwell Smith Iii PharmD

Dr. Smith is a clinical pharmacogenomics specialist at MedStar Health. In this role, he facilitates the implementation and oversight of clinical pharmacogenetic testing throughout MedStar Health. He also serves as the co-chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Pharmacogenomics Subcommittee and co-chair of the Pharmacogenomics Steering Committee. Dr. Smith earned a PharmD at the University of Toledo and is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. At the University of Florida, he completed a hospital residency as well as a residency and fellowship specializing in pharmacogenetics.
