Maxwell Anthony Thompson MD

Max Thompson MD is originally from Alabama, where he was raised and attended high school in Birmingham. He then attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, receiving a degree in Biology. Continuing his education, he moved back to Birmingham and attended the UAB School of Medicine and then completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at UAB Hospital, where he also served as a Chief Resident in 2016-2017. During his medical training Max has developed a passion for point of care ultrasound exploring the use of ultrasound in the emergency department and education.
