Max D. Cooper MD

Max D. Cooper, MD, is a Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar and a member of the Emory Vaccine Center and the Center for AIDS Research at Emory University School of Medicine. In recognition of his fundamental contributions to immunology, Dr. Cooper was inducted into the French Academy of Science Institut de France and also was elected as a fellow of the Royal Society. He is a laureate of the prestigious Japan Prize Award received in 2018. He obtained his medical degree and pediatric residency training from Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
