Mauro Antonio Czepielewski MD, PhD

Mauro Antonio Czepielewski is a Professor of Endocrinology at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He graduated in Medicine from the Federal Faculty of Medical Sciences of Porto Alegre Foundation (1978), Master in Medicine (Clinical Endocrinology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (1986), and Doctor of Medicine (Clinical Endocrinology) from the Federal University of São Paulo (1993). He is currently a Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre for 12 years and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Medical Foundation of Rio Grande do Sul for 3 terms. He is a member of the clinical staff of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, working in the Endocrinology Service. He was a member of the editorial board of the Brazilian Archives of Endocrinology & Metabolism, Physician - a general practitioner of the Ministry of Health. He was President of the Regional Rio Grande do Sul and Member of the Deliberative Council of the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism for 4 years. He was Vice-President and Founder of FORMED (National Forum of Directors of Federal Schools of Medicine).
