Maurizio Colecchia MD

Maurizio Colecchia is a pathologist in staff in the Department of Pathology of the IRCCS National Cancer Institute in Milan where he is responsible for the diagnosis of diseases of the male urogenital tract. Previously he was Director of Complex Structure of Pathological Anatomy at the Hospital of Lodi. Dr Colecchia is a general pathologist with particular interest in research on germline neoplasms of the testis and prostate cancer. He is Chairman of the GIUP (Italian Group of Uropathology, affiliated to the Italian Society of Pathology (Siapec), and is a member of scientific societies such as the European Society of Pathology (ESP) and the International Society of Uropathology (ISUP). He is the auditor of some scientific magazines such as Virchows Archiv , Analytical and Quantitative Cytology and Histology , Cancer Letters and International Urology and Nephrology
