Doctor Mauricio Umeno Watanabe had multidisciplinary training within his profession. He is a Specialist in Periodontics, a Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Master in Dentistry in the area of ​​Dental Prosthesis, and a Doctor in Dental Science in the area of ​​Biomaterials. He works and teaches courses in the area of ​​Aesthetic Dentistry with emphasis on the use of composite resins and ceramics and also in the area of ​​Digital Dentistry. He develops projects for smile design (CAD/CAM), with the use of minimal preparations being the main focus of his work. The huge number of invitations to give lectures, workshops, hands-on, and webinars in Brazil and abroad, makes him one of the most sought-after speakers in the area. He already has in his curriculum approximately 400 activities as a minister, having acted on the stages of the most important events in the area in Brazil, such as the Congresses of the SBOE (Brazilian Society of Esthetic Dentistry), the Revista Clínica, Estética of the APCD (Association of Surgeons-Dentists), Operative Microscopy of the APCD, CIOSP, CIORJ, CIOMIG, etc. Abroad, he taught courses in the United States, Germany, Liechtenstein, Spain, Indonesia, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, and in almost every country in South America. This year, he is scheduled for events in Russia as well. He works as a technical consultant and opinion leader for some of the most important companies in the sector, participating in tests and final adjustments of various materials that are on the market today.
