Maureen Twiddy BSc, MSc, PhD

Dr. Maureen Twiddy, PhD a behavioural scientist with over 10 years post doctoral experience. IMaureen ave a BSc in Psychology (2003) and MSc in Psychological Approaches to Health (2004) from the University of Leeds. Maureen received my PhD from the School of Medicine at the University of Leeds. Following my PhD Maureen worked as a post doctoral research fellow at Leeds Institute of Health Sciences and joined the University of Hull in 2017.

Maureen a mixed methods researcher and lead the Institute of Clinical and Applied Health Research (ICAHR) Methods Hub. Maureen work closely with the Hull Health Trials Unit and Leeds Clinical Trials Units. Maureen a visiting senior lecturer at the University of Leeds.

Maureen have expertise in a range of qualitative and quantitative research approaches (co-design, surveys, observational studies, clinical trials, process evaluations, interviews, and focus groups). Much of my current work involves undertaking process evaluations linked to clinical trials, and conducting embedded qualitative studies aimed at understanding the experience of patients and staff involved, and developing interventions to improve trial recruitment.
