Maureen Mcgrath RN, MS, PNP

Maureen McGrath is a pediatric nurse practitioner at the Madison Clinic for Pediatric Diabetes. She also serves as the director of the Madison Clinic Peggy Huang Diabetes Nurse Fellows Program. McGrath specializes in treating children and teens with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.McGrath earned a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and a master's in nursing at UCSF.

Subsequently, she was the first nurse to be offered the Dorothy Frank Diabetes Fellowship at UCSF, which she completed in 1996 under the direction of Dr. John Karam. McGrath is also board certified in advanced diabetes management. She has been honored twice by the Diabetic Youth Foundation for service to children and families with diabetes.
