Maureen Casey

Maureen Casey is a San Jose native. She earned her Bachelor’s in Art in American Studies with a minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz and earned both her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Early Childhood Specialist Credential from San Jose State University. This is Ms. Maureen’s 10th year working in a classroom and 8th year as a teacher. Ms. Maureen also assess incoming preschoolers at the Preschool Assessment Center and works outside of FMSD assessing children for the Early Start program. Ms. Maureen loves to travel, hike, practice yoga, rock climb, hang out with her dogs as well as with her family. She will be an Aunt for the first time this November.
