Maulik Majmudar BSc, MD

Dr. Maulik Majmudar is a practicing cardiologist, entrepreneur, and director of the Healthcare Transformation Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital. He focuses on disruptive technology in health care and the mentorship of budding physician-entrepreneurs. His talk, " The Quantified Patient of the Future”, will review recent developments in point-of-care, wearable, and other portable diagnostics, with physical examples for the audience to consider. He will identify the ways in which the rapidly changing medical technology environment is likely to change our modes of practice, and ways in which residents and fellows can prepare now for the upcoming disruption of key clinical assumptions.
