Matthias Van Haele MD, PhD

Matthias Van Haele completed his medical studies at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Afterward, he pursued his doctorate at the Department of Translational Cell and Tissue Research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tania Roskams. Within this trajectory, Matthias focused on the study of hepatic stem cells in functional liver disorders and carcinogenesis. Since 2020, he has been employed as a resident in Pathology at MUMC+.
