Matthias Jacob

Dr. Matthias Jacob at the beginning of November. The new head of the Clinic of Anesthesiology and Operative Intensive Care Medicine had previously held the same position at the Munich Klinikum Harlaching. The Straubinger Hospital is not new territory for a native of Furth im Wald anesthesiologists. Already from 1997 to 1999 Dr. Jacob worked here as a medical resident Dr. Vogel. Following that, the 43-year-old worked as a medical assistant at the Department of Anesthesiology at the University Clinic of Munich, from 2003 as a senior physician. In April this year he became chief physician of the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Pain Therapy at the University Hospital of Harlaching Municipal Hospital Munich GmbH.
