Matthias J. Muller MD, PhD

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. rer. nat. Matthias J. Müller has been the Medical Director and Medical Director of Oberberg GmbH since 01 October 2016. After studying medicine, psychology and philosophy at the universities of Mainz (Dr. med.) And Giessen (Dr. rer. Nat.), Professor Müller has been promoted, Habilitation and Venia legendi have been awarded by the University of Mainz. In addition to a course of behavioral therapy with Professor Hautzinger, Tübingen, scientific and clinical activities took place at the Universities of Gießen, Basel, Aachen, New York and Mainz.
Professor Müller is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy with additional qualifications in medical quality management, palliative medicine and hospital hygiene. Since then, he has been involved in more than 300 scientific publications in magazines and books, including the well-known Compendium of Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy (Benkert & Hippius). Clinical and scientific focus is mainly on clinical psychopharmacology, psychiatric diagnostics, stress and coping, sleep disorders and sexual function disorders as well as affective disorders in schizophrenic and internal disorders.
