Matthias Dann LLM

Matthias Dann is a lecturer at the Johann Wolfgang-Goethe-University Frankfurt am Mai, at the Heinrich Heine University Dusseldorf, and at the University of Munster for the certificate course Compliance. He is also a Certified Compliance Officer (TUV Rheinland).

Matthias Dann has been working for Wessing & Partner since 2006, becoming a partner in 2012. Prior to this, he was a member of the law firm Wessing II – Verjans in Dusseldorf.

Matthias Dann studied law at the Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms University of Bonn, where he also received his doctorate, and at the University of Edinburgh. He advises his clients in German and English.

A particular focus of Matthias Dann’s legal work is on medical criminal law. In addition to hospitals, medical care centers, laboratory associations, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device manufacturers, he also frequently advises individuals in the healthcare sector. Furthermore, he represents companies and individuals in company-related criminal and administrative offense proceedings, in particular in corruption and competition criminal proceedings. This also includes advice on issues of criminal compliance.
