Matthew T. Hoerth MD

Matthew T. Hoerth, MD, is a board-certified neurologist, epileptologist, and sleep medicine specialist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he serves as a Consultant in the Department of Neurology. He is recognized for his expertise in epilepsy, seizure disorders, electroencephalography (EEG), and sleep medicine, providing comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological and sleep-related conditions.

Dr. Hoerth earned his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Neurology at Mayo Clinic, followed by fellowship training in both Clinical Neurophysiology/Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine. This unique combination of subspecialty training has enabled him to develop expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders that affect both neurological function and sleep health.
