Dr. Burke is employed through MedStar health, primarily at the Student Health Center at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He also works at several of the MedStar Promptcare centers in the DC area. He completed his AB with a double major in History and Biology at Dartmouth College and then earned his MD at Albany Medical College. He did residency training in Rhode Island at Brown University, Memorial Hospital before completing a fellowship in Primary Care Health Policy at Georgetown University.

He has strong interests in health policy and public health, especially with regards to social determinants and health equity. Dr. Burke also serves as Chairman of MAFP’s Government Advocacy Committee.
