Matthew S. Dawson MD, RDMS, RDCS

Dr. Matt Dawson is Director of Point of Care Ultrasound at the University of Kentucky and the Assistant EM Program Director. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed a residency in emergency medicine and fellowship in bedside ultrasound at the University of Utah. He is the co-creator of The Ultrasound Podcast, downloaded >30,000 times per month. He is the co-author of two textbooks, Introduction to Bedside Ultrasound Volumes 1 and 2, and he co-created the One Minute Ultrasound smartphone app and Sonocloud.org. His interests are bedside ultrasound and the future of medical education.
