Matthew R. Smith MD, PhD

Matthew R. Smith earned a doctorate and a medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a clinical fellowship in medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dr. Smith serves as Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Associate Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Director of The Claire & John Bertucci Center for Genitourinary Cancers.
