Matthew P. Kelly MD

Dr. Matthew P. Kelly, MD is an Associate Professor and Co-Medical Director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Kelly completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine with a medical doctorate. Dr. Kelly completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans followed by a fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine the following year. Dr. Kelly’s research interests include carbon monoxide poisoning, mitochondrial dysfunction, hyperbaric medicine, and wound care.
