Matthew J. Maughan PharmD

Matthew Maughan is the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. His current scope of responsibility includes working with the pharmacy leaders in the Dartmouth-Hitchcock system to organize and implement system pharmacy projects, as well as serve as the Director of Telepharmacy. He has held positions as the Director of Pharmacy at Sidra Medical & Research Center in Doha, Qatar, Director of Pharmacy at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, Manager of the Children's Hospital Pharmacy at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Medical Center, Adjunct Assistant Professor with the South Carolina College of Pharmacy and Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Dr. Maughan received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and completed both a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and a PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina Medical Center. Dr. Maughan has led efforts to streamline the pharmacy operations while further showcasing clinical pharmacy practice to nurse and physician colleagues. He is always excited to build dynamic health care teams that can rapidly and effectively treat any patient.
