Matthew Milowsky, MD, FASCO, is a medical oncologist and clinical and translational researcher. His clinical interest is in the treatment of patients with genitourinary cancers, including bladder cancer, testicular cancer, kidney cancer, and prostate cancer. He is the Section Chief of the Genitourinary Oncology Service and Co-Director of the Urologic Oncology Program.

Dr. Milowsky joined UNC to lead the Genitourinary Oncology Research Program with a focus on translational science and clinical trials for patients with urologic cancers. His research focuses on the development of novel therapies for patients with urologic malignancies. He has a particular interest in the design of clinical trials that utilize novel immunotherapies as well as those that use an integrated genomics approach to characterize genitourinary cancers for genetic alterations that may represent targets for novel agents.
