Matthew Hewitt BA, PhD

Matthew has a Research experience in drug discovery, target discovery, assay development, upper airway physiology, immunology, tumor microenvironment, CAR (Chimeric Antigen Receptor) T-cells, molecular biology, AAV gene therapy, and neurobiology. He has Significant experience with in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro systems. He has 11+ years of experience composing manuscripts, technical papers, and abstracts for publication in high impact journals and presenting data at national and international meetings to both technical and non-technical audiences. He has 8 years of managing and mentoring teams of research associates and PhD level scientists. He has 6 years of regulatory experience composing pre-IND, IND, and IMPD reports for use in FDA and European Medical Authority (EMA) filings as well as US and EU patents.
