Matthew Harrison PhD

Matthew Harrison is an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Dr. Harrison’s BrainGate research focuses on statistical learning and prediction algorithms for online neural control of brain-computer interfaces. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University and had a visiting position in Statistics at Carnegie Mellon before returning to Brown. His research has been published in leading journals such as Nature Neuroscience, Annals of Statistics, and Journal of Machine Learning Research.
