Matthew Giacalone PhD, MBA

Dr. Matthew Giacalone has 20 years of experience in the area of minicell biology and the use of minicells as delivery vehicles. He provides operational oversight as well as corporate, business, and product development expertise to the company. Dr. Giacalone also manages Vaxiion's robust intellectual property estate and holds over 20 patents and publications in the minicell-based delivery field. Dr. Giacalone received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA from San Diego State University through a joint Ph.D./MBA program.
