Matthew D. Kay MD

Dr. Matthew D. Kay is an experienced ophthalmologist and has now been in practice for more than 28 years. His life in ophthalmology began in 1987 when he graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. This was followed by an internship and then a residency at Rush Medical College in Chicago. A fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital followed and was completed in 1992 before Dr. Kay entered private practice.

As a highly experienced ophthalmologist, Dr. Kay diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions relating to the eye. He specializes in the treatment of age-related ophthalmic conditions such as macular degeneration, as well as glaucoma, retinal detachments, and diabetes-related retinopathy. Procedures carried out by him include cataract and refractive surgery, and non-cosmetic chemodenervation, as well as providing ophthalmic examinations. Dr. Kay is also an expert on neuro-ophthalmology, working with conditions such as optical nerve disease.
