Matthew C. Murray

Dr. Matthew Murray completed his undergraduate degree at Grand Valley State University near where he grew up in Michigan. He then moved to Australia and attended medical school at the University of Sydney followed by residency at Tufts University/Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Murray then completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at UCSD.

He works concurrently at UCSD and Rady Children’s Hospital. His current positions include Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine Education for EM residents rotating through the Rady Children’s Hospital ED as well as Director of QI/M&M for the pediatric emergency department. Academic interests include pediatric resuscitation and airway management as well as EM simulation and trauma with research in head trauma and medical informatics.
