Matt Bourbeau

Matthew Bourbeau is a Principal Scientist in the Therapeutic Discovery organization at Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA. Dr. Bourbeau earned his BS in chemistry from Muhlenberg College in 1998. He then pursed his doctoral studies at the University of Virginia in Professor James A. Marshall’s research group, where he completed the total synthesis of the marine natural product callystatin A. He moved to Amgen in 2003, where he has been involved in a number of research programs in the oncology, neuroscience, and metabolic disorders therapeutic areas
