Matilda Schubert MBBS

Matilda Schubert is a Health Promotion Officer at Primary Care Connect (PCC) in Greater Shepparton Victoria. PCC is a community health service which employs over 70 professionals to engage with vulnerable and hard to reach community groups. Matilda holds a Bachelor in Public Health and has just recently completed her Postgraduate Degree in Teaching. Matilda is passionate about all areas of health, working particularly closely with Shepparton’s Cultural And Linguistically Diverse (CALD), and Aboriginal communities. Her current role entails community engagement and events, research and policy making, evaluation, grant writing, developing and implementing health programs that focus on overcoming social isolation, active living, and healthy eating education. Often Matilda’s work is delivered in partnership with a number of local organisations in the area, combining resources and skill sets.
