Mathieu Roy is an Associate Professor at the University of Sherbrooke. He received his Ph.D. in Public Health from the Montreal University. He assumes a specialized advisory role in the field of the quality of methods, institutional standards, and scientific processes. He helped develop new standards and guidelines in the field of quality with institutional scope and he contributed to transversal scientific processes. In addition to this mandate, he supports the decision-making of public health decision-makers through various products or deliverables that take into account the best existing evidence. He is interested in public health issues but more particularly in health promotion. Positive approaches in the field of health, as well as health assets (i.e. resilience, social participation, positive mental health, salutogenesis, and quality of life), are my main areas of research.
