Mathews J. Alapatt MBBS, MD, MRCP (UK) FRCP (EDIN)

Dr Mathews J Alapatt graduated (MBBS) from the prestigious St Johns Medical College, Bangalore India in 1985. Subsequently he completed his Post graduate studies (MD General Medicine) from the same college and in the UK (MRCP UK). He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

Dr Alapatt has worked in hospitals in India, UK and in the UAE. Prior to joining JTSMC he was at the Welcare Hospital in Dubai for 15 years where the Head of the Department of Medicine running a very busy inpatient and outpatient practice. He practices a holistic approach for the treatment of diabetes, believing in the close link between an individual’s physical and mental wellbeing and the importance of preventative medicine and sustainable lifestyle changes
