Mathew Thomas MBBS, MD, FACS

Dr. Thomas received his Doctor of Medicine degree (1998) from the University of Kerala in India. He completed his General Surgery residency (2009) at the Robert Packer Hospital/Guthrie Clinic in Pennsylvania, USA and Cardiothoracic Surgery residency (2012) at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, USA. He joined the Mayo Clinic campus in Jacksonville, Florida in 2012 as an Attending Surgeon in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery and is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He is board-certified in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery) and Cardiothoracic Surgery (American Board of Thoracic Surgery).
