Dr. Massimo Primignani is an Adjunct Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Milan. His research activity has focused on the diagnosis and endoscopic therapy of esophageal and gastric, as well as on the treatment of changes in the gastrointestinal mucosa in the course of portal hypertension. He also focused on the study of hemostasis in the cirrhotic patient, in stable conditions or in the course of bleeding from esophagus-gastric, as well as on the study of thrombophilia in primitive splanchnic thrombosis.
