Masahito Sato

Masahito Sato currently a Senior Researcher of Astellas Pharma Inc. and leading an immuno-oncology project. Before joining Astellas, he participated in the discovery of cancer therapeutic antibody drugs at Medical & Biological Laboratories (MBL) using a phage display system. Since 2011, he generated various antibodies for acute disease patients as well as for the cancer patients in Astellas. He has 12 years of experience in engineering of antibodies such as bispecific antibodies and protein fusion antibodies.
