Dr. Maryana Cherkes is an ENT Specialist LKH Hochsteiermark Leoben and Co-Founder at ENT & Krasa Medical Centre. In 2009, she graduated with honors from the Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytskyi, majoring in "Medical Affairs". In the same year, she entered an internship in the specialty "General Surgery" at the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital, where she acquired many surgical skills in operative interventions. She completed an internship in the specialty "Otorhinolaryngology" at the Lviv Regional Children's Hospital and Metropolitan Andrey Hospital. During her internship, she completed an internship at the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Wroclaw Medical Academy. Poland. In October 2011, she learned the endoscopic technique in the cadaver course "Endoscopic Sinus Surgery". Dr. Horst Schmidt Klinik in Wiesbaden. Germany. In 2012, she was enrolled as an otorhinolaryngologist at the Communal 5th City Clinical Polyclinic.

In April 2012, she took part in the 5th World Congress for Endoscopic Surgery of the Brain, Skull Base and Spine combined with the first global update on FESS, the sinuses and the nose. Vienna, Austria. In September 2012, she actively participated in the Congress of the Polish Society of Otolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgeons in Gdansk, Poland. In 2013, Maryana Bohdanivna entered postgraduate studies at D. Halytskyi LNMU, where she is working on a candidate's thesis on the topic: "Peculiarities of gender, age and constitutional parameters of the maxillary sinuses in adults". Also, since 2013, doctor Cherkes has been working as an assistant at the Department of Operative Surgery with Topographic Anatomy of D. Halytskyi National Medical University and enjoys respect among colleagues and students.

In the fall of 2016, she specialized in Children's Otorhinolaryngology at the Lviv City Clinical Hospital, where she mastered the skills of examination and surgical interventions for pathologies of the ENT organs in children of various ages. In 2017-2018, she worked at the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Western Region, where she learned to provide assistance in emergency situations and acquired many surgical skills. In autumn 2017, she was awarded the International Scholarship of the American Academy of Otolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgeons and had the opportunity to attend the annual convention of the American Academy of Otolaryngologists in Chicago, USA. And to conduct a 3-week internship with joining the team of specialists on the basis of Weill Cornell Medical College in the giant city of New York,USA.
