Mary P. Bronner MD

Mary Bronner, MD, is the Division Chief of Anatomic Pathology and Molecular Oncology, and Senior Leader over the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) Biorepository and Molecular Oncology Pathology Shared Resource. She is also a professor of pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

At the Department of Pathology and ARUP Laboratories, and HCI, Dr. Bronner directs all patient care, education, and research efforts within the Anatomic Pathology division. Her research focuses on premalignant growth in the gastrointestinal tract and its relationship to chronic inflammatory diseases, such as chronic pancreatitis, Helicobacter pylori gastritis and ulcerative colitis with the obhective of improving early cancer detection and cancer prevention.
